Upon booting up Tails if I choose "disable all networking", is it safe to create a Bitcoin wallet seed if I'm still within range of wireless networks? Is there any possibility that Tails could be attacked from another system on the network with networking disabled?

To elaborate, with your full node wallet, you get to choose what size block chain you support. You can choose to run the full node software that follows the 1mb (BTC) chain, or the full node software that follows the 32mb (BCH) chain, or the full node software that follows the 128mb (BSV) chain, or you can start your own chain at whatever blocksize you want and start mining it yourself.
The point is, by using your own software, you vote with your intentions. If I refuse to accept coins from the 32mb rulechain, then that's my preference. Just the same as if I refuse to accept MS Office documents, and only plain .txt files, then I am voting for my preference. "Sorry my text editor can't read your .docx file" is the same as "Sorry my node isn't showing your txn". Its not what some web block explorer says. Its not whether some Google docs website can read your MS Office document. Its what your software can recognize, because you only trust the software that you choose to run.
If enough people are like me, and want and choose the same thing, then a community/network starts to emerge. That's how this thing works. No one in control; each individual choosing. Developers are irrelevant if no one is going to choose to run that software. Yes, that means you need to have a technical understanding of the tradeoffs of both sides, so that you can make a conscious choice. You want to disrupt central banks, then you have the responsibility of educating yourself.

User feedback on Bitcoin.org’s potential new “Choose your wallet” page!

We at Bitcoin.org have been working to improve the “Choose your wallet” page over the last few months. Our goal has been to make it easier for new users and experienced users alike to find Bitcoin wallets that match their particular needs and requirements. In order for us to accomplish this, we’ve completely revamped the process of wallet selection so that it’s more interactive and personalised.
We’ve just completed implementation of the redesign and new wallet selection logic, and we’d like to solicit user feedback so we can improve it further before we go live. So what do you think? You can experiment with the new choose your wallet page here: https://bitcoin.cryptopelago.com/en/choose-your-wallet
In particular is there anything you’d like to see change? Or something we’re currently doing wrong that could be done better? Even just telling us what you like about the redesign and/or new selection logic would be immensely helpful. Of course any bugs or weird issues should also be reported along with what browser and platform you experienced the issue on.

Are you afraid of losing all your Bitcoins? 6 criteria for choosing a secure cryptocurrency wallet.

CEO of Euro Pacific Capital Peter Schiff stated on Twitter that he has lost access to his Bitcoin wallet. Vitalik Buterin commented on the incident, "We can and should create better wallet tech to make security easier."
We couldn't agree more with this statement and are ready to share the essential rules for secure storage of cryptocurrency.
What should be taken into consideration when choosing a crypto wallet?
  1. Inability of creating an account without confirming the seed phrase.
  2. Regular notifications for private key security check.
  3. Shamir's Secret Sharing to divide private key or seed phrase into parts which don't give access to an account when using them separately.
  4. Connection to hardware wallets and cold storage apps.
  5. Source code - the wallet should be an open-source project.
  6. Private keys management - non-custodial wallet is preferable.
Be careful while choosing cryptocurrency wallets, store your passwords securely and, of course, use extra protection with cold storage.
Reach out to us if you are choosing a wallet and are unsure about its level of security. We will be glad to advise you about the best solution.

What do you guys think about Bitcoin.org's potential revamp of the "choose your wallet" page to help users better find a suitable wallet?

These are the mockups we've had created:
Desktop: https://invis.io/EVPQ1WPSBG8#/356509387_Bitcoin-org_-_Wallet_Flow_2-01_-_Desktop
Tablet: https://invis.io/EVPQ1WPSBG8#/356509396_Bitcoin-org_-_Wallet_Flow_2-01_-_Tablet
Mobile: https://invis.io/EVPQ1WPSBG8#/356509381_Bitcoin-org_-_Wallet_Flow_2-01_-_Mobile
It's possible to interact with the content, though the flow is already pre-defined. Make sure to click the "iOS" button when prompted to pick an operating system since that's the only option selectable. Then click through with "Next" to everything else.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Like the FAQ about how to choose a wallet, it seems the sidebar is now converted to a Bitcoin.com advertising site.

Looking for the Gemini exchange in the old.reddit sidebar (sidebar menu not showing in the new reddit), Gemini is not listed so I click on "more exchanges" and get this: https://www.bitcoin.com/buy-bitcoin
I love Bitcoin.com, but, BTC should not be controlled by their advertising arm.

Bitcoin-only firmware allows to choose ALTs in Wallet Settings.

I have installed BTC only firmware, no issues. Than I checked option "Select Wallet Currency" and it was still showing ALTs. I picked one just to see what will happen, press Save & Reload and get error messages: "Reading of accounts failed. Error details: Firmware error"
I switched back to Bitcoin, press "Save & Reload", all is good. With one exception: The pull down menu for selecting ALTs is now back on the main screen and I can't get rid of it...
